Astanza’s Training Division, New Look Laser College, Discusses the DESCRIBE® PFD Patch on CW33

Screen Shot 2018-07-25 at 11.43.24 AMNew Look Laser College, Astanza’s training division and the world’s leading training course for laser tattoo removal, was featured on CW33 last Friday for using the innovative DESCRIBE® PFD Patch. Astanza became an official distributor of the MerzNorth America, Inc. DESCRIBE® PFD Patch back in April. Since then, we’ve showcased the Patch in all of our New Look Laser College training courses and have sold over 100 boxes and subscription packages.

As a leader in laser tattoo removal technology, Astanza is constantly looking for ways to improve this advanced procedure. The Patch provides benefits for both practitioners and patients alike, including the ability to perform multiple laser passes in one treatment for faster fading and results compared to conventional treatment.

New Look Laser College gives laser tattoo removal students the opportunity to use the Patch and practice treatments on actual patients. Almost all patients and students have said they prefer treatments with the Patch versus without it.

“So the new piece of technology that we have incorporated into our training course is the PFD Patch, it’s perfluorodecalin,” said Justin Arnosky, Director of New Look Laser College, when comparing the Patch to conventional treatment. “We can do multiple passes in a single treatment, so it’s going to accelerate how quickly we get rid of a tattoo.”

Astanza sells the Patch to laser tattoo removal practitioners and physicians throughout the United States. The DESCRIBE® PFD Patch is available only through licensed physicians and can be ordered on the Astanza Laser website at https://astanzalaser.com/product/describe-pfd-patch/.

The DESCRIBE® PFD Patch is a single-use, optical clearing device accessory for use in laser-assisted tattoo removal procedures. Side effects, including pain, erythema, and edema were reported during laser tattoo removal. The DESCRIBE® PFD Patch is available only through licensed physicians.
