Sugar, spice, and everything nice! What’s Valentine’s Day without a little sweetness? Most people focus on showering their partners with gifts and thoughtful gestures for this holiday of love, while others are anti-Valentine’s Day and prefer celebrating themselves or friends instead.

There are numerous ways to celebrate love and participate in Valentine’s day, not only for friends and lovers. This year, show your clients how much you adore them by taking a new spin on this holiday, whether you run special discounts, offer incentives for folks to refer a friend, or even give away a special treatment package. There are several ways to express your appreciation for your current clientele while sending a cupid’s arrow to new prospective customers, too.

Running Special Discounts in the Name of Love

What better way to show your customers some love than to offer a special discount? Whether it’s one day only or throughout the entire month of February, discounting either a specific treatment or all services your aesthetic practice offers is a simple yet efficient way to show your appreciation for loyal customers. Themed incentives are also a great way to encourage hesitant customers who need a little push to book an appointment and take advantage of extra savings.

Since Valentine’s Day falls on February 14th, offering a 14% discount is a perfect way to personalize your deal for this holiday. Of course, your aesthetic laser business can offer a steeper discount, but 14% off for the 14th has a nice ring to it.

Consider offering deeper discounts if people purchase full-service packages, such as an entire laser hair removal package or a complete laser tattoo removal package. A common way to run a treatment package special is to offer a Buy Six, Get One Free deal or throw in a complimentary service with the purchase of any laser package. For example, if your aesthetic practice provides several treatment options, you could throw in a free botox facial treatment with the purchase of a full laser package.

Do you offer laser tattoo removal? Focus on a love theme and provide special discounts for pink, red, and purple tattoos. You could also offer special pricing for folks getting an ex-partner’s name removed. Nothing says “love” like removing painful memories of the past and making room for a better relationship!

Celebrate Pal-entine’s Day!

Host an official event at your medical spa to encourage customers to bring a pal in on Valentine's Day. When we say an event, we mean go big or go home. Serve refreshments and appetizers, create fun photo ops, and decorate your space to match the typical red and pink theme for the holiday of love. Pro tip: Have a sign-in sheet that allows you to collect the information from all your guests. Then, enter their names into a raffle drawing to win a free service or treatment- package. Pro tip: Put up signs with a QR code that directs people to your social media profiles. Remind guests to tag your practice's page so you can reshare their content – giving your social media presence a nice boost.

Offering a special BOGO half-off promotion is also a great way to get referrals through loyal customers. You could run this special the entire week of Valentine's Day, or just the day itself. If you don't want to offer 50% off a particular service, consider giving $20-$25 gift cards to each person who brings a friend.

Give Love, Get Love!

Don’t forget to show your aesthetic practice a little love, too! Ask everyone who visits your clinic in February to leave a glowing review on your Google and Facebook pages. The best way to get more good reviews is simply to ask! Make it easy for your clients by displaying a QR code sign near your checkout desk that goes directly to your Google and Facebook pages. Ask clients to scan the code and leave a review as they wait for their payment confirmation and receipt to sign. This simple but effective process is fast and gets you great reviews without any hassle.

Show Your Adoration with Freebies

Aside from fantastic discounts on their favorite services, hosting a giveaway either in person or on social media is the perfect way to remind your clientele that you appreciate them and their business. If you’re a MedSpa that offers several services and also sells products, giving away a product package is the perfect way to promote the products you sell. If you’re an aesthetic practitioner who offers laser hair removal and laser tattoo removal services, consider gifting one free session to a lucky winner.

Or – go big in the name of love! Giving away an entire laser treatment package is a huge offering and will attract dozens of entrants. 

Whichever route you take, offering special pricing and discounted packages is a win-win scenario for both your aesthetic practice and your clientele. Be sure to promote your offerings in advance, giving plenty of notice for your online followers and current customers to take advantage of these lovely offerings!
